Development
The Infuuts is the result of a collaboration between the Princess Máxima Center and UMC Utrecht. In 2020, the idea emerged to provide young patients with greater freedom of movement despite their medical equipment. After extensive testing, the product is now available.
What is the Infuuts?
The Infuuts is a children’s bike that can easily be connected to the Mobilyzer or the FM Mobil by B Braun. Thanks to its smart design, children can move around freely without requiring their parents or caregivers to push the IV pole. The IV lines are safely guided over a hook, preventing them from getting in the way or dragging on the ground.
Research has shown how important movement is for young children, especially those undergoing medical treatment. Their mobility is often restricted by IV lines and poles. This innovation allows children to move freely again, giving them a sense of freedom within the hospital walls.
