The Infuuts was created from a collaboration between the Princess Máxima Center, UMC Utrecht and TechniCare. Winner of the Eureka Mega Challenge, the Infuuts is a wonderful product. The Infuuts infusion bike provides safety for professional and fun for the child. The Infuuts not only provides freedom of movement, but also contributes to the well-being of children and their parents. The tricycle is the result of a collaboration between the Princess Máxima Center and the UMC Utrecht. In 2020, the idea arose to give young patients more freedom of movement despite their medical equipment. After extensive testing, the product is now available.
Infusion bike
The Infuuts is a children’s bike that easily pairs with B Braun’ s Mobilyzer or FM Mobil. Thanks to its clever design, children ride around without their parents or caregivers having to push the infusion pole. The infusion lines hang securely over a hook, so they don’t get in the way or drag on the ground.
Research has shown how important movement is for young children and especially in the hospital setting. Unfortunately, movement is often limited by the infusion lines and the infusion pole. Thanks to the Infuuts, there is the possibility to cycle freely around the hospital.
